Pre-Packaged Foods Are Not Good For You

!±8± Pre-Packaged Foods Are Not Good For You

If you are serious about getting into shape and eating healthier, you need to open your pantry and throw away all of the pre-packaged foods.

For the most part none of them belong in your diet. Protein bars are good but the Wheat Thins, crackers, chips, low calorie, low carb boxes have to go! If they are in your house you are going to eat them. Don't ruin your diet by keeping them in your pantry. If the bad food isn't there, you can't eat it!

When you open your refrigerator or pantry and there is only healthy options, you can only eat healthy food.

Pre-packaged foods are full of preservatives that are not good for you. When you go to the grocery store you should be shopping in the perimeter of the store.

Most groceries stores have the produce at the beginning of the store. You should be filling up your grocery cart with fresh fruits and vegetables. These are essential for your diet.

Then move on to the meat department and pick up some chicken and turkey. Most everything in your grocery cart should come from one of these two areas in the store.

Don't go down the freezer aisle and throw in Lean Cuisines and Smart Ones in to your cart! These are loaded with sodium and are terrible for you. They may be low in calories but the other ingredients make up for it.

Go to the Ziploc bag section of your store and purchase the new steam bags by Ziploc. These are a life-saver and a time saver.

Throw in your favorite marinade in the bag with a thawed out piece of chicken breast and throw it in the microwave for three minutes. The chicken comes out perfect almost every time. These bags are great for fish, turkey, chicken and fresh vegetables.

They are really convenient and you can make a meal in less than ten minutes with them. These are also great for when you are on vacation or business trip and you are trying to eat healthy.

Most hotels have a microwave and refrigerator in the room, which is perfect to help you eat healthy while on a trip. Just stop in to the store and pick up the bags, vegetables and meat products and bring it with you to the hotel and you are set for a healthy lunch and/or dinner every night.
